Certainly looks like someone wants this for nothing. The tech is excellent, and the need for it will grow substantially in the coming years. People seem to have conveniently forgotten the following:

As a follow-up to the above:

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8444928/

"Immediately after infection, semen quality appears to be suppressed via mechanisms that appear to lower testosterone levels and disrupt all aspects of the semen profile (sperm count, motility, and morphology as well as leukocyte infiltration), the magnitude of the effect depending on the severity and duration of the disease. 22 It is also suggested that sperm DNA damage is a feature of the disease that may impact not only the fertility of affected patients but also the health and well‐being of their offspring. 23 Importantly these effects on semen quality seem to subside with the passage of time, although further studies are needed to substantiate this point."

It is actually the last sentence that is the most interesting - "subside with the passage of time." Even if azoospermia is reversed, 'significant levels of oxidative DNA damage' remain.
