Alright we have lost our money but what can we do about our tax losses. This dead company walking my suite the banks but could be disastrous for shareholders wanting to claim tax losses. Does anyone know if i can do an off market transfer and sell the shares to my wife at 32 cents ( last traded price) and claim the loss? You would think the ATO could not argue with that. It would be bad enough to loss your money and then not be able to claim the loss for years.
