I’ve never worked at an accounting firm, but went through it with a listed company I worked for. I could reference accounting standards, copy in extracts from other listed company annual accounts to validate what I’m saying, but ultimately it’s unnecessary - you’re simply wrong on this point. But, if ignorance makes you happy, then you stick with it.
