The government uses the public to gain far too much control....

The government uses the public to gain far too much control. People had a fear of muslims after 9 11 so the government used that fear to justify loss of freedoms for all. Now they use the public dislike of tobacco to push through into areas they really have no business being in. The same with net filter, they use child porn which the public justifable hates to force an agenda of control. It is well we only want this power for one thing but the problem is it gives them wider power.

It is discrimination against smokers at this point. Unless an action is to protect innocent people then the government has no right. Does not matter if you hate smoking or not. Government should not be able to use bigotry or hate to raise taxes, reduce freedoms etc etc.,

So nothing to do with whether I dislike smoking, I hate the government even more when they use bigoty as permission to gain excessive control over society.
