I find people who 'break wind' in public...far more obnoxious than drinkers or smokers.... breaking wind, and body smells, from lack of good hygiene... stopped me from using public transport in Melb...
I tried the trams and train system for about a month.....being squashed into an over crowded transport system...next to someone with bad body odour, so bad it made me feel like puking, and dry reaching....or to be confined to a seat with a farter in front...or the standing room only, with no means to escape...was the ultimate disgusting humiliation...that I gained from the public transport system... so I am one of those who drive my car 15k's to the city, rather than put up with disgusting smells from the other people..
