My understanding is that internet sites like Google etc. claim their revenue from advertising which is directly proportional to the number of hits or views. They still have turnover from this revenue.
Cost and profit shifting is what we are trying to eliminate. Taxing revenue happens before any cost is manipulated or profit determined.
Taxing debit accounts sounds very, very encouraging imo.
