Tax Purpose - Capital loss (while the stock is under voluntary suspension)

  1. 1 Posts.
1PG unfortunately represents a huge loss in my portfolio. Terrible inverstment.
The original plan was to stick around until before end of June and sell it if no improvement

I was fortunate to have gains from other shares this financial year, so if I recognize the loss by selling 1PG, I could at least have the benefit of offsetting gains for tax purpose.

Now that with the 1PG going into voluntary suspension,
is it still possible for me to use it as capital loss to offset my capital gains?
If I cannot trade on commsec, does it mean there is no way to settle and recognize the loss? and that I will have to wait until it resume trading, which is whenever??

    Many thanks for any guidance.
