Hi as I understand if you are claiming losses then they have to be against gains If for tax purposes you are creating a carried thru loss then you also have to offset that against carried thru gains . The easist way is to sell the loss makers and if you have sold other stocks at a profit then use the losses to offset your gains Towie DYOR Keep it pure and simple so that you can understand it all Towie
