the big difference people seem to forget, between last year and this year, is the large increases in oil produced. CVN has seen 6 fold increase of oil produced from 432bpd to cvn (June qtr rpt 2007) to 2600bpd (june qtr rpt 2008). And increasing all the time.
Things have changed dramatically for cvn, and valuation has increased dramatically.
The current sp is a short term blip due to doom & gloom emotions, and down ramping. JP morgan selling is to do with thier own survival (rumour has it as one of the next banks likely to fail) they need all the cash they can get a hold of... bank what bank??? The are pulling out of many holding they have in aust. and around the world.
Sp down to mid 20's I really doubt it!!!
Will be interesting to see what the volume of shorts are at end of today?
