    you say "negative gearing" is generally misunderstood. There's only 2 things you need to understand about it: 1. It gives unfair advantage to landlords/property investors in the form of tax concessions 2. It has contributed significantly to increased demand for property which has caused the housing affordability crises. Neither of those 2 things are good.
