tax selling only

IMO the present dip in the shares and options is only people who had waited to sell off at the start of the 2008 financial year to defer paying tax for 12 months.

Once they have given up (or sold out) the share and option price should resume its northerly ascent.

The Speculator in The Bulletin still rates the options (PDZO) as a strong buy, and feels the same about the reason for the current dip - for what it's worth. Indeed he wrote an article about 4 weeks ago saying this is exactly what would happen around the end/start of the financial year.

I doubt the price decline will happen much longer, though (as The Speculator predicted - that was the idea of his article) there sure is some excellent buying right now for anyone not loaded up.
