I usually don't sell off my underperforming stocks at end of FY. My accountant just uses the market price on the last trading day of FY to get a value for my end of year closing stock (which would be .045c). Saves selling into the fin. yr. selloff & locking in the loss. The problem...oops "challenge" is that if you use this method I think it has to apply to all your closing stock. Works for me anyhow.
