We are not trying to organise a backyard picnic. Maybe a group of like minded people can organise that, and each can pay a few bucks towards the barbecue sausuges.
Australia has a land mass of 7.6 million square kilometres and a population of near 24 million people. We intermingle with other governments and billions of people around the globe.
Your simplistic, naive, fantasy land approach of a " group of like minded people" cannot manage this state, national and global responsibility. To manage this responsibility you will need to create a structure that will include NON like minded people such as you and I (or a dictatorship).
Get into the real world not the picnic barbecue world.
