Here's a humourous one.. I held this from ages, when i started out as a rookie investor. Far from saying I'm a professional now, not even close, but my now $2200 stake (yes if you can believe, @ 54c! in 2010) is worth $12 at the current market price now..
What can I do? I would have to pay commsec to sell this stock as the brokerage of $20 puts me into negative $8. Can i write the value off of this in tax treatment terms or do I have to officially have to sell the stock?
Seriously guys if somebody wants my 4000 shares for free let me know
Thanks guys, hopefully someone gets a laugh out of this
