kudos to NJ for bringing it up .
As I understand it currently , gambling winnings are considered a windfall .
Is it time winnings were taxed ? Considered part of normal paye ? Maybe a flat tax of 10 percent on the winnings over 1000.
Let's be honest if you can afford to gamble you can afford to pay a little tax .
For the record I gamble , not often but I enjoy a punt
