For the Vietnam war it was only 20 year old brits and aussies were eligible for call up to national service. When this was was changed to ALL 20 year olds, there was a big exodus of 19 and 20 year olds being sent home to their mother countries by their parents to avoid call up.

Bring back national service! It,ll soon sort out who wants to be Australian!
