    Hi FedExpress,

    Your statement:

"re canon city mill - only has max capacity of around 1000 tonnes per year?"

Not sure where you found this number. The DOE in the U.S. states that:

    http://www.eia.doe.gov/cneaf/nuclear/dupr/umills.html

Operating Status of U.S. Uranium Mills, End of the Year, 2003-2005:
  2. Canon City Milling Capacity is 400 short tons of ore per day

  3. At 400 short tons of ore per day and operating at say 260 days per year would equate to 104,000 short tons per year.

And per their "Operating License Number Colo.369-01" issued by the "State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment" it states:

  4. The licensee shall not operate the mill beyond a capacity of 1500 tons (1350 metric tons) of uranium ore processed per day or 1200 tons (1100 metric tons) per day on a yearly average.

  5. At 1200 tons per day and operating at say 260 days per year would equate to 312,000 per year.

These numbers seems to be a little more than your figure of around 1,000 tonnes per year. If you have a source that would refute that of the U.S. DOE and the "Operating License Number Colo.369-01" issued by the "State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment" would you please provide that source for us. TIA...
