Three cheers for that tazmac. There are so many stupid comments about gold and what it's worth or not worth.
The same arguments could be applied to real estate or almost any investment.
I bought this property at the height of the boom in 1988 and it was deemed very expensive and overpriced. Today it's worth 7.8 times as much - and it's been a wonderful place to live all those years.
