That's the sort of nonsense which caused the conspiracy crowd to ride the last bear market down, SP.

There's plenty of gold, it's a 6 trillion dollar liquid market (and rising) with most of the gold available for sale at the 'right price'.

Gold has outperformed other asset classes for so long, we're probably nearer the end of the bull market than beginning (see below, Courtesy Hinde Capital)

For those being spoon-fed conspiracies history will repeat if not careful. People selling them are never going away.
