The manipulators can do what they like and it is legal according to ASX whom supposed to be the watchdogs for shareholders. The shorters are working with the brokers so their fees probably works out the total trade at the end of each day, not per trade as you and me. They also pay a lot less in commission as well. That's their normal way of making a living unfortunately nothing you can do about. However you can sometimes make use of their systems to buy more shares at cheaper price if you think the company is good. What about the managements recently paid fees for institutions to buy cheap shares at 9 cents and now sell them for 40% profits?? Talking about fairness for small investors !!
