Quick read looks like we need to calculate if we made a capital Gain or Loss in most cases to declare in this years tax return. Was hoping to not to have to do that for many (maybe many, many years into the future). Capital Loss's can be carried over so no stress.
I had a quick look for calculator online but couldn't see one.
Sharesight has one if u are a paid up member. Not sure if can access if use the "free" account
