RE : Telstra deal to channel Foxtel via T-Box
    February 9, 2011

With telstra selling 120,000 t/boxes, the prices ranged from $100 to $200 per month, depending what bundle internet plan you choose. The contracts run for 2 years.
i work that out at say average $150 monthly by 12 months is $1800 by 120,000 t/boxes sold equals $216,000,000 multiply by the 2 years contract, equals $432,000,000
additional income approx these t/boxes will bring in for telstra. If sales of t/boxes continue to grow ,who knows what this figure could grow to ?
On top of that telstra will earn the movie rental fees for thousands of hired movies the owners of t/boxes can download from big pond movies direct to the t/box for a fee of $3.95. only telstra will know how much that amounts to ?
On top of that telstra will also i imagine charge a fee for channeling foxtell to t/box customers.
Also telstra has been selling T/Hubs to customers which bring in fees ?
