Transurban and it’s shareholders must rue the day it approached the Andrews Labor government with the Westgate Tunnel Project.
There is no resolution to where to dump toxic soil, there is at least a $1 billion cost overrun (who pays you might ask?), the tunnelling machines are still not ready to descend to the underground cut area and the project is now at least 12 months late.
This is a financial nightmare and TCL is dealing with the devil.
