    Have you ever had a term deposit Charlie?

    No one ever sets a term deposit term beyond where you need the money.
    If an emergency, and you did "breaking" a term deposit is easy, you just loose the interest premium. Not that much at today's interest rates.
    Alternative you take out a short term loan to cover the period between the emergency and release, you have the collateral.

    Are just being naught? Trying to get some sellers out to buy?
