Don't normally post, I enjoy the back and forwards on the threads though; negative or positive all points have a measure of validity. I have worked in subsea oil and gas for years and never has a negotiation for a contract run on time. Rigs and resources are always run to a fine line, and the service provider left hanging for the scraps to fall from the table of the big boys. Guaranteed management is frustrated with the time frame but that's just how it works when your waiting for someone to give you money, they have plenty and don't care if we don't. I've had almost every job I've worked on pushed back or brought forward at the majors will, rarely at the service providers. The word that keeps me standing confident is FUNDAMENTALS!! And just like the jobs I've worked on when they press the GO button that's exactly what will happen.. If your bleeding cash I'm sorry I hope you can hold on long enough. If you've lost hope move on and don't look back its not worth the pain.
