Time to review what I predicted versus what actually happened:
Originally I said that the crossing of both the slow stochastic and the MACD lines (the bottom two graphs) on the 23 June was the first time this had occurred since the big 30% fall on 9 April. What has actually occurred is more like the small pullback 5-12 May. Seems I was overly cautious and quite inaccurate*, as many others pointed out.
The share price seems to stay above the 20 day EMA line (the top blue line), with a few exceptions. When it drops through this line it drops no further than the 50 day EMA (not shown on the graph but it's halfway between the 40 and 60 day lines). If this behaviour continues the share price should only fall (if it does) to about $6.35 (the 20 day EMA) and a big fall no further than about $5.60 (the 50 day EMA). Today, for example, it bounced off the 20 day EMA at $6.35.
Where to now? This could be a prelude to another sideways movement around the $6.50-$7.00 level, just like the one month sideways $4.75-$5.25 during May. However, yesterday the slow stochastic crossed over to a buy signal. I was watching the buying closely today - there were quite a few large purchases of 50k or more, in big chunks. Seems there might be some serious acquisition going on. This plus the impending Zone 1 upgrade and initial Zone 2 JORC should see upwards pressure on the share price.
*Oh, and a mea culpa: I am much, much better at fundamental analysis than at TA. So I await more expert opinions on the TA from others. As for fundamental analysis, can't wait for the next drill reports.
