    I think this thread touches on a big problem for PTR in the long run. The timing has been unfortunate with the onset of the volatility in the middle of a capital raising campaign...

    I have no idea how they are going to raise risk capital for exploration wells in Spain, either. I wouldn't underestimate how difficult it is to do what PTR is trying to do.

    PTR only make sense as a very long term proposition in my opinion. If they figure out how to set up the Engineered Geothermal System at paralana then they will have proven that they are an exceptional team.

    In the event of success at Paralana, my guess is they will be able to cherry pick projects in jurisdictions that have a favourable legal framework and suitable bolt-on incentives. With a proven track record, they only need to find a suitable JV partner in that country and then they shouldn't have a problem raising capital.
