Ok guys. So, a quick run down of Wangle today at the Techknow Conference in Sydney. Sean presented the company very well. Major thing learned today was that so far, no institutions have come on board yet. YET is the key word here. Much of the audience were Institutions or Sophisticated Investors. Interesting to note that Family Zone presented earlier, and Sean was quick to note and highlight that no software was needed to be installed as Wangle operated on a cloud. In addition, he spoke of Wangles scientific research with Telethon, and the loop of information and data that would be fed to Telethon and back. He also spoke of potential future work with schools and of course telco's. In addition, he said that the App on the app store would be going live within hours, and very quickly followed by android on the google play store. Tightly held register and he noted the big volume of shares and price movement in the last week. Monetisation, no surprises. Overall, very pleased with the presentation, and the repeated reference that blocking access for children was not the answer. Instead was management and working more closely with parents, and assisting them with real assistance when a child has accessed something inappropriate. One more thing he said which i liked was that although other competitors can block access, that access restriction is removed once they visit a friends house. Also, the necessity for parents to be trusted by their children and vice versa. Hence blocking may lead to resentment. Apologies.
