Senior Software Engineer
CardieX is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to produce and implement cross-functional software solutions. You will work with key stakeholders to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects in conjunction with the Director of Product
Development.The Senior Software Engineer will lead a team of developers responsible for building high- quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals across our ecosystem of mobile applications and web-based portals.
This candidate should possess the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills. Creative engineering balanced with high quality and a customer focus. Must be able to work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking to grow their career in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Technical Lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team members.
- Develop high-quality iOS and Android based software design and architecture
- Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the Software stack.
- Perform validation and verification testing.
- Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
- Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages; evaluate and make recommendations as necessary.
- Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
- Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
- Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
- Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams, management, and B2B partnerships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
- Minimum 8 years of software development, scripting, and project management experience.
- Connected wearable device expertise.
- Medical/healthcare related experience preferred.
- Mobile application development for iOS and Android
- Broad experience including the design, programming and implementation of large-scale ecosystem that include wearable devices, mobile applications and web-based portals.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) interrogations and systems (Mirth and HL7 Standards).
- Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others.
