Your only choice is to rely on your research and the fundamentals, ignore the day to day machinations.
I once held a position in a company where a top 5 holder had died 18 months previous to some SP "pain" that defied all logic. , The estate decided to sell all company positions to distribute cash to beneficiaries. It was 2 months of pain, every small momentum gain was squashed, and then a big sell off at the end. The SP bounced big time when it was all over.
Sometimes you just don't know. Reply on your research, hold for 12 months, this noise won't matter.
