is using a very similar breakout method to the original Turtles formula
he has refined it and gives a running commentary in his systems thread....including detailed results.
Suggest the original question be put to that TA forum.
I am unable to find Darryl Guppy's old reference to
the Technical Analysts Associations for further empirical reference..just a lead..to the old chestnut
technical analysis and charting, page-39
