Regarding your comments about t/a being self fulfilling, theres a lot of that about I'm sure. Its like the chicken and the egg theory now. Candlestick charting has a history of 2000 years. It's all about behaviour and human behaviour is gunna change much any time soon.
I've read numerous articles that sound like they were written about the market yesterday, but then it's revealed that in fact it was 70 - 200 years ago.
So many things are revealed by the charts for those who take the time to study them closely. But each to there own. You can lead a horse etc etc
