A big problem in Afghanistan and Iraq has been soldiers hit by compression waves from IEDs etc. They display no obvious wounds, but the shock waves have injured them internally, including concussion.
Soldiers now wear pressure sensors. If the sensors show they have been exposed to a certain level of shock wave, the troops are removed from active duty if possible while they recover. In future, part of that recovery process would be going on to NEU medication as soon as possible.
The drug would be in every soldiers first aid kit.
