Higher grade hits aren't always better than lower grade, when width & depth is taken into consideration & the hole properly evaluated. Strip ratio For instance. A wider hit with lower grade can be more economical to mine than a narrower, higher grade hit. To do with waste & costs & the size of the Resource footprint...
