The remarkable surge in the gold price will no doubt be the headline this morning, but for MTH shareholders, the greater benefit will be the even bigger percentage lift in Silver prices.

The Gold/Silver Ratio has this morning dropped to 77, the lowest for a while (down from 125). If it continues in this direction, it may well overshoot the historical average of around 60.

At these levels investors will be scrambling for exposure to Silver - and there are not many ASX listed stocks with better leverage to Silver than MTH.

And the timing of the current drill program just couldn't be better.

Should be a good day. Would be a great day for an announcement - but I think it's a bit early for any updates.
