@slick That may well be a general rule, but for speccies like this, I've been around long enough to know the fun and games at play. And that includes taking out stop losses to expose the weak hands for the soak up. Works the other way too. Inject liquidity to the upside to draw in the punters whilst unloading the bag. But don't get me wrong, as I wouldn't say that charting or technical analysis has no value, rather my thinking is that it's not an exact science. I kinda reckon its a self-fulfilling prophecy at times, so to an investor like me where its all about fundamentals, technical analysis has its place if only for entry and exit strategy when it comes time to buy or sell. AIMHO (DYOR).
