I get your point mate.
There are times to put your money where your mouth is and go against the grain, ( Contrarian investing by David Dreman ), Great book.
I believe this to be one of those, right here and now.
I have built a nice position and have been down 50% in past positions that were life changing outcomes.
I expect this to be another.
I also see that the opinions of others Can be, unwelcome but there are some that remind me of the 6 blind men around the Elephant.
All have a different view of the Elephant, eg; big ears, little tail, fat legs, Loooong nose, etc.
BUT all are correct, although in isolation they seem a little ridiculous.
That happens and we can argue only if we are not comfortable with our own risk reward strategies.
And yes we get it wrong but at least that is at our own expense.
Imho, the writing is on the wall for what is in the making here.
I am happy to sit on the side fence and watch the garden grow.
All is coming, and I am happy with the strengthening fundamentals along with the TA.
@slick put up a chart that shows the level we are at is near the support line, that is also a welcome sight in my view.
Bring on June and the US summer where investors loosen up and become more positive.
Bring on the current unfolding of the US debt and hence the need for an alternative view to the fundamental importance of Gold.
