US needs it own supply of Antimony brother we know that.. Damn military runs on the stuff & the last known mine in the states got turned into a national park from memory.. Not that something like an environmental moretorium would stop Donald J from putting pen to paper on an executive order as the Chinese & the Russians control just about the lot.
There is a plant in Oman purposefully built to process antimony but from what I could see when AAU floated the idea it hasn't/hadn't achieved nameplate throughput consistently because of the ore shortage.
That & if you wanted the antimony then it came at the cost of the extra gold ounces at the time.. Which meant AAU faced hobsons choice over getting La Demajaguar up & running..
The world is a simmering pot of UFC bouts at the moment so who knows what will happen. ?
