You can see that the purpose permit application is for the area in purple. As far as I can tell, it covers Mining Lease 26/240 and a large chunk of Cross Fault (from Jack's Show down to Mulgabbie Queen), plus all that old Mulgabbie mining ground to the NE. Then there's all that corridor access down to Golden Goose and further SE down to the drink (water access maybe?). I dunno as I'm no expert and I'm only guessing. Here's a long shot map of it and then a close up on the proposal page of the DWER website. You can see that the clearing purpose is for mineral production. You can also see the indicative start date to clear is from 31 July 2025 but I can't see that happening because the proposal needs to go through DEMIRS and get advertised first. So when you check the DEMIRS website here, which was last updated on 27 June, you can see that the latest clearing application that is flagged as new and has been advertised for submissions (closing 15/7) is NST's (I've got a screen shot of it below). I can't see anything about OZM. But like I've said many times before, I'm far from an expert so I really don't quite understand how these things work, which means I may be reading it wrong. Only OZM can tell us wtf is going on. AIMHO (DYOR).
