something similar may have happened with gda, a week, or so again. the stock opened higher on largish volume, and the stock raced to 1.9c (double the previous closing price). maybe people think - "heh - something is happening ...buy first, ask questions later and turnover was 100m shares -those who bought were let holding the parcel, when the music stopped.

this is the dodgy end of the market
