True. A good company is never really a bad investment. And I agree, that fundamentals are important. But why enter BHP today at 31.60 when tomorrow it could be 30.50?
Charts give you tools to use to enter and exit trades rather than putting your faith in a "good company".
And in either case, charting is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Yes, fibonacci seems a bit far fetched when you think about it logically to be true in the market, but when so many people use it, it's going to be somewhat true...
