The Garnaut report said to me that the ONLY way to reduce greenhouse emissions by even 60% in 50 years is to get in there NOW and develop geothermal, solar and wind power, with big REDI grants, de-risking exploration, and flow-through share schemes for investors who take the risks like we all have in backing speculative plays like this. Make no mistake, even short-term traders are taking risks on geothermal stocks for the benefit of Australia's carbon reductions, and if the government can de-risk it...well...nuff said!
