Groundswell, going back through the drill results won't show up anything flash. The company's line is that it's a nuggety gold deposit, and that wide spaced drilling has a very low probability of hitting the goods. They claim bulk sampling is the only way to to get a representative grade with this style of deposit. So, look to their bulk sample to get an idea of what they think they've got. They have said the drilling was to test continuity of geology. I'm not wanting to either support or cast doubt upon this nuggety gold angle, but it has to be said that after the drill results came in last year and nothing much showed other than continuity of geology, the SP tanked. This is why they were planning to fast-rack to a test decline/large scale bulk sampling operation...effectively a small scale mine. No more drilling...just to go for it and find out the average grades on the fly.
So whether you buy the nuggety gold angle or not, this silver mineralisation is a potential game changer to the extent that it hedges the gold play and they've now even raised the possibility of going open pit instead of the test decline.
