deutcha, have you phoned the company to speak to their technical manager and discussed your thoughts, to see why they are doing what they are doing?
You do need to phrase your posts as an opinion, and make sure they don't come across as giving unlicenced advice, but I'm sure holders would be interested to hear back on whether you get a satisfactory explanation to your points or not.
