re: 1000 point sell off in may I always felt it would take the next round of earnings in th US in July/August to knock the wind out of this rally.. It should be make or break with the illusion of a "recovery" proved or otherwise... for my part I would like to see real capitulation because until that happens its all smoke and mirrors to me.. In my mind the market still looks like setting itself up for big falls in the 3rd (or 4th) quarter and refuse to go long..
