I think now we can see clear through all the muck for the first time. We've all heard Warren Buffet say that he only buys shares in companies that he understands, like coca cola and google. If we really hit the gurgler, then what's going to continue to turn? WOW,as people need to eat, and its share price is reflective of that sentiment. We all know about Fosters and Coke in these times as well. I agree with fundamental analysis, in that it is in many ways superior. Problem is, I don't have a lot of confidence to tackle that area. And as my accountant said, no matter what you find with your research, you will never know what deals are done behind closed doors. I look at it like this. You have a football team that's promising to come good next year. They have a new proven coach, good management, some good top players and new sponsorship. That would be a good pointer to success. But in the end the proof will be the end result, which will be the scores. That's where charting can, at the very least, get you out before the stern believers go down with the ship.
