Got an email from the company.
Certain investors reacted negatively to the flow rate at Moonta-1, which was provided in the ASX release last Friday (attached). The message we are communicating to the investment community is one which we have stated all along, that this is an exploration program and we are gathering significant data points and valuable information during the program which we will use to refine our approach as we move forward with the unconventional play in the Cooper.
We are currently analysing production logging tool (PLT) data and it appears as though certain fracture stimulation stages did not contribute to the flow rate at Moonta-1. This is currently being investigated.
To me, not an expert, this suggests that the gas is there but problems in extraction. But of their learning curve. Had this been incorporated in the Ann last Friday, perhaps the savaging of the share price may not have occurred.
