In theory, everything else remaning same, the bounce back will be completed on the next ex-dividend date. The catch is however that everything else never remain the same and hence the theory cannot be tested. The things that should remain the same are forecast dividend amounts for the stock, outlook for the stock, interest rates, outlook for the market etc etc.
