To launch chemical rocket into space you need to burn x amount of fuel to create thrust.
For every additional weight you want to launch into space, you need:
Y amount of fuel requied to lift additional weight + z amount of fuel to lift extra y amount of fuel you needed for additional load.
So very quickly chemical rocket becomes very inefficient:
Amount of fuel needed to lift extra weight multiplies due to the need to lift heavier and heavier ratio of fuel to lift extra weight and extra fuel.
It is the same thing with EV and battery weight.
Truck doesn't need to pull 2 tonne battery constantly, it runs about the same on 1lt of fuel as it does on 200lt of fuel.
In conclusion:
Power consumption efficiency between EVE and ICE is irrelevant.
