Sadly Australia has a different 1) Government ( no British parliament would OK a Uranium mine in Kakadu national park. 2) pro-mining resource policy's both ore and oil and gas. 3) Fairly weak or unmotivated green lobby ... ? didn't Pat Garrett support a lumber mill of old growth forest in Tasmania.
We can but dream of comparable philosophies.
